Adventures with Puma Ghostwalker
The Pitch
People write
to me all the time asking if I could take them and other family members on a
backpacking adventure. A woman lost her husband do to an illness, he was an avid
backpacker. Their son is at that age now and she feels her son is missing out
of the life he would have if his farther was still alive. I took them out for a
three week backing trip where they learned map reading, how to use the guide
books. I taught the young boy Tommy how to build a fire with one match.
I gave them
the knowledge and the confidence they needed to go out there and make their own
adventures. They write to me from time to time telling me about their journeys.
A soldier
back from the war, his head full bad memories. I take him out for a month and
in that time I convinced him to backpack the whole Appalachian Trail from Georgia
to Maine about 2,200 miles. It will take him about 6 months to do it and it
will fill his full of awesome memories and along the way he will make lifetime
friends.
This will
make a great TV show, it will be self-propitiating, the viewers will write in wanting
or knowing someone, a family in need of such adventures. So don’t miss out on
the next hit TV show with Puma Ghostwalker.
